Modular Framing System
Faztek's modular framing system offers many advantages over other building materials. Most notably are the modular extrusions - the backbone of this modular framing system.
Modular extrusions are used to create a strong and modular framing systems for use in almost any application consisting of machine enclosures, perimeter guards, safety fencing, robot guarding, work benches, ergonomic workstations, light duty material racks, carts, machine vision systems, machine bases, automated gaging systems, displays, exhibits, in-plant offices, web converting equipment, power unit enclosures, labeling systems, dispensing equipment, machine tool companies, and tooling carts, just to name a few. These modular extrusions can easily be cut to length, machined with several options, and joined together without the need of welding or heavy machining. The T Slot design allows for high-modularity and functionality, unlike the near permanent configuration of a welded steel frame. This flexibility is perfect for applications which may require future modifications and changes.
With over 50 Modular Extrusion shapes and sizes available, Faztek can help you create the most efficient and cost-effective modular framing systems to suit your specific application needs. For non load-bearing applications such as perimeter guarding, safety fencing, robot guards, and machine enclosures, try our Ultra-Lite Modular Extrusions not offered by most. These lightened versions of standard profiles save you money and weigh less. Our newest Ultra-Lite profile, the 15QE1515UL, is a smooth version of our very popular 1.5" x 1.5" extrusion.
All of Faztek's modular extrusions can easily be cut and machined to accept an assortment of special fasteners and accessories. Faztek can even complete these services for you before shipping for a small fee. Modular extrusions are cut to a tolerance of +/- .005" and hand washed before passing through our quality control department.
