Which panel type should be used for my specific Faztek application?

Faztek offers polycarbonate/lexan, ABS, and PVC panels for use with T-Slotted Extrusions.

Polycarbonate panels are great for doors, machine guarding, storage cabinets and other enclosures. They each have strengths and weaknesses. Review the panel characteristics below to help determine which material is right for you.

Due to its high strength and machining characteristics, polycarbonate/lexan is ideal for use in machine enclosures, perimeter guards, safety fencing, robot guarding, etc....

ABS and PVC panels have many uses. Although not transparent, they offer a clean aesthetic look as well as a high degree of functionality. Common uses include use with sound enclosures, partitions, tops for workstations and desks and much more.

ABS is more rigid than PVC and is smooth on one side, textured on the other. PVC panels are more susceptible to scratching.
